Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Pittsburgh. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in Pennsylvania are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 AMβ10:30 PM. Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pittsburgh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

On Sunday, April 12, we arrived about 5min after 11am, but the door was still locked, then a girl slowly walked pass us and unlock the main door as she was officially opening the shop...She did not greet us, did not pay attention to us waiting at the cash register at all as we waited there forever. FYI we were the first customers, no one else, so yes it wasn't busy at all. My partner ordered his drink on the kiosk with Chia seed toppings, then later she said she ran out of Chia seeds topping (right after the shop is open?), and offered another topping instead. Cool, so my partner wanted crystal lychee boba as his substitution but his drink ended up NOT having any toppings! But yes, he got charged for it. Her customer service was so bad, looked messy and not well organized either...

Secret Menu local item: Longan Jujube Tea. All the aunties love it, really happy with the recommendation. Usually get peach yogurt or ginger? Everyone is super sweet, love this place. Nice little seating area off to the side as well if you want a lil Boba date!

Nasty. Our barista was kind but not in a helpful way. They didn't seem to know any combos that would taste good. I let them know my niece and I were new to boba making and they didn't seem to help at all. So ours were nasty π€’ I mean ewwn when I came back to fix hers they were kind enough to fix it so 3 stars. Lol.

Teas are ordinary, prices are not bad. One of the teas they serve they advertise that they use fresh orange juice but in reality they use concentrate orange juice.

Average at best. 1. The staff was the coldest I have interacted with. No smiles or greetings. 2. They messed up my order. I asked for coffee flavour but there was no coffee. The good thing you can customise level of ice and sugar and the boba itself was quite tasty. You are better off going to Tsaocaa for good bobas.

King fu tea is one of my favorite boba spots! The first time I went here was in Maryland and I tried the jujube milk tea. It was one of the best boba teas that I tried. I was bummed when I left Maryland because I didn't think there were any here in Pittsburgh but I was wrong! They have such a huge variety of drinks options. If you do not like milk tea, no problem! They have hot teas, hot chocolate, slushes, iced teas, I think they even have coffee options. This place is very eye catching. They typically have some kind of deal going on. The prices really are not too bad. I don't mind paying a little more for their drinks even if that wasn't the case. Their drinks are always delicious, very flavorful. The staff is usually very helpful when it comes to recommendations because there are quite a few options to choose from the menu. It can be a little over whelming at times but I would like to try as many flavors as possible. I'm very glad to have a kung fu in my area. It makes me daily walks worth it!

This place is absolutely awesome the sheer variety of options beyond just tea. What you can order is staggering and surely there is something here for everyone. The staff were fantastic and prompt and the four drinks my family ordered what completed in a reasonable amount of time. The place was also very clean and well ran. Overall if your by this place and want an amazing drink you can't go wrong

This bubble tea shop is actually quite good! I would say I still prefer Tsaocaa more, but it could be due to the fact I got a yogurt drink from there and a tea based drink for here. Kung Fu is a chain, but their bubble tea is still pretty high quality and pricing is decent. I tried the Oreo WOW (medium size, regular sweetness 100%, no ice). First of all, I love how you can customize numerous aspects of your drink. Lots of places charge you extra for wanting a drink without ice (due to them needing to put in more of the drink itself to compensate the lost volume) but is is free here. Sweetness level customization also seems to be pretty accurate. I really enjoyed my Oreo Wow drink. There were little pieces of Oreo in the drink, which was well appreciated. The drink itself was not too sweet, and had a great amount of milk. The bubbles were chewy, but I would have liked them to be a bit sweeter. Overall size is good, both for the bubbles and for the drink itself. All in all, Kung Fu Tea definitely has a great menu for bubble tea/boba. They have fruity flavors, milky flavors, exotic flavors, yogurt blends, and everything in between. They even have snacks, like popcorn, although I've
